Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right

Thinking.  I do a lot of it.

Sometimes too much.

A year ago, I thought it would be a great idea to hop on the blogosphere. I thought a lot about it…a LOT. But I think I overthought it.  As the summer rolled on and my schedule filled up, I continued to think, but I never took the time to transfer those thoughts over here and continue the conversation. I absolutely LOVE to think…and write…and share ideas. I also absolutely love to learn…and grow…and improve. The year got away from me and I wasn’t able to devote any attention to this new venture. In the midst of the craziness of another schoolyear, completing my Superintendent’s coursework, multiple stats media projects, and loads of family fun, I got bogged down. I forgot to take the time to just sit back, relax, and reflect. My appetite for continued improvement got the best of me.

So, after a year of professional and personal growth, I’ve decided it’s time to dust this thing off and get those thoughts down again. This time, though, I don’t plan on overthinking it.  I’ve set a few personal and professional goals for the year…and I intend to meet each of them. As for this blog, my goal is to visit with you weekly…if even for a brief chat. I’ve taken a year to grow as a learning leader, and I’m looking forward to growing even more…with your help.

So let’s chat. The floor is open. Learning… Teaching… Leading… Statistics… Data… TurboNerdery… I’ve got a few topics lined up already, but I’m all ears. Send me your topic ideas and let’s start a conversation! We have so much to learn from each other…like I said a year ago…

Let’s do this thing.

      1. Maybe 2-part. Part 1: a rant about what we do, then Part 2: What we can do instead.

I might even have a thought or to to contribute if you’re looking!
